Shoulder Routine - Dumbbell Exercises
Here is a great dumbbell shoulder routine for pitchers or position players. It will help with shoulder stability, velocity gains, and injury prevention.
I recommend using very light dumbbells (3-5 lbs) when performing this shoulder routine. I also recommend doing all 8 exercises as a super set of 10 each totaling 80 reps before a break.
Here are the 8 shoulder exercises in this routine:
1) Flies
2) Front Flies
3) V ups (thumbs up)
4) Side to side external/internal rotation
5) Windshield wipers
6) Goal Posts
7) Straight Backs
8) Bent over flies
On all of these exercises, be sure to "set your scaps" before you begin.
