Professional Baseball Tryouts in 2010
Professional Baseball Tryouts are put together by scouts or organizations in order to see a lot of guys in one controlled environment. These tryouts are free of charge but some of them may be by invitation only. The ones that are not by invitation only, you will have to find your own transportation there and home.
Usually you will only tryout for one position during the tryout. However, there are ways around this. Just don't be a pest and keep bugging the instructors. Maybe just get in line in the other position with out saying anything. The worst thing they could do is say no you already went for pitching or whatever it was you tried out for. I'm sure they would just hit you a few ground balls anyway.
The good thing about professional tryouts is not only that they are free, but you can attend any amount of them that you wish. There are no rules to how many you can attend. Therefore I recommend you attend as many of these tryouts as you possibly can. The more someone sees you, the better the chance you have at playing pro baseball. You may need an invitation though.
