Baseball Pitching - Recovering from a Start
As a starting pitcher, one of the most important parts of the job is recovery. A starting pitcher must have some type of routine during his non pitching days, or rest days, that promotes recovery and gets him ready for his next start.
With that being said, there are many different philosophies and many starting pitchers that do different things to recover between starts. I think the main thing a starting pitcher needs to think about when it comes to recovering from a start is that you must do what works best for you.
As a starting pitcher you have to understand how your body reacts to certain exercises and how it recovers best from a start.
Watch this video where I talk a little bit about recovering from a start and some things that a starting pitcher can do after pitching to get ready for his next start.
