How To Throw A Forkball
This video is about how to throw a forkball. I did a video prior to this one on how to throw a split finger and some of you guys called me out and said what I was throwing was called a forkball. You guys are right.
The technical term for the pitch and grip is forkball, I just always called it a split finger since I started throwing it. Whatever you want to call it, how to throw the forkball is what we really want to know.
All you do to throw the forkball is split your fingers (hence me calling it a split finger) as far as you can apart while comfortably being able to throw the pitch.
The forkball is a slip pitch, so you are going to want to let the ball slip right out of your fingers. The forkball is a hard pitch to control, so if you struggle with command, I would suggest learning another pitch before you learn how to throw a forkball.
If you have any question about how to throw a forkball just leave me a comment here and I'll try to answer all questions. Good luck with throwing the forkball.
