60 Yard Dash - How to run a faster 60 in baseball

I want to answer a question I get a lot on the site here and it is how to run a faster 60 in baseball. Well, in my opinion, there are 3 steps you must follow in order to run a faster 60 yard dash in baseball.

Step 1: Find The Best Teacher

When it comes to anything that require a lot of skill and knowledge to perform, like baseball and running the 60 yard dash, then you have to find the best person to teach you all the tips and tricks. Believe it or not, running the 60 yard dash is very technical and you can shave a few tenths of a second off of your time just by using proper form and technique. That's why it's important to find the best trainers or teachers.

With that being said, meet Andre Williams. Well, I guess you can't meet him because we're on the internet, but Andre is an MLB speed trainer to some of the fastest 60 yard dash runners in all of pro baseball. He recently wrote an e-book on all the technical stuff that you need to know to run a faster 60 in baseball.

Step 2: Work on the technique

Like we discussed before, the 60 yard dash, and sprinting in general, require a lot of technique. Without the proper technique, you can run significantly slower times than you would if you were working on your 60 yard dash running technique.

So, this falls back in line with learning the right way to do it! Get the picture yet? That's right, it's all in there, 12 chapters on how to run a faster 60 in baseball.

Step 3: Consistency

So, I'm assuming you've bought the e-book already (or will be immediately doing so after you read this), so the next step is to make this a craft to master. Don't just read the e-book and go, "oh, ok, that was cool, I got it now". NO! Use this e-book to consistently tweak and get better at the little things when running the 60 yard dash. Practice it! Be consistent! It is the guys who focus on the fundamentals day in and day out that are the most successful. In this case, it can be the matter of getting a scholarship or not, or signing a pro contract or not! That's how important these 2 or 3 tenths of a second are for some of you guys! So, get the program and be consistent with it!
