Being a catcher is like being the leader of an army. Hopefully you have a bad ass army, but no matter how good or bad your team is, you have to be a leader. Besides that, catching requires a lot of skill, a lot of training, and well...a lot of catching. A good catcher can change to outcome of a baseball game. A few balls called for strikes here, a good call there.
