Feet First Sliding

Feet First Sliding

Feet first sliding is an essential when it comes to running the bases. sliding, slide, feet first, how to,cleats up,take out, base path, pop up,run the bases, baserunning, back, into, base How To Slide Feet First When sliding into a base feet first there are a few things that you should remember. First, you want to slide into the base away from the throw. Meaning, if you hit a double to right field and you are sliding feet first into second base, you want your left leg to be tucked under so your face is toward home and third. If you are stealing second, it would be the opposite. You would want your right leg under so you face would be toward the outfield. This just keeps our face protected from being hit with the baseball. We are too pretty to have our face busted up like that! This all depends on if you can slide feet first both ways. As with anything, practice makes perfect. Here's a video on how to slide feet first when running the bases that will teach you how to do it the right way. Also check out the pop up slide and the head first slide. Good Luck!
