Turkish Get Ups for Baseball
The Turkish Get Up has been gaining popularity through the internet especially for mma training or combat training. Of course we don't do any of that here but I thought we could alter this workout just a little bit and make it baseball specific. The Turkish Getup is a great workout because it focuses on core, abs, flexibility, and stability. Once you get the technique down on the Turkish Get Up it is a great workout for baseball players. I added the stand up to throwing position at the end to make it a more baseball specific workout. The other thing I changed in this turkish getup is that we are using a small med ball instead of a kettle bell. I think you guys will enjoy this baseball specific turkish get up workout.
