60 Yard Dash Tip - Finish Through The Line

Let's talk about the 60 yard dash and how focusing on finishing through the line can help you. Every time a new person comes in to see me we run the 60 yard dash. And almost ever time, the player will slow down just before they get to the finish line. When I make them run it again and ask them to focus on running through the line on the 60 yard dash instead of running to the line, they always get a better 60 yard dash time.

So, all you have to do to focus on running through the line is, act like you are running a 75 yard dash rather than a 60 yard dash. This way, you won't try to "break the tape" or lean through the line to try to get a faster time, and you definitely won't slow up if you think your finish line is further. This will decrease your 60 yard dash time guaranteed.
